On July 21st and 22nd, Mihhail Gerts replaced Lawrence Foster at the International Piano Festival of La Roque d’Anthéron at late notice. The conductor directed the Marseille Philharmonic Orchestra in two contrasting programmes: a classical program (with Adam Laloum) and an American program (with Plamena Mangova), in which he subjugated the public and the critics.
