What a tragedy for Russia and for the whole world!

How could such a disaster be allowed to happen at the beginning of the 21st century in the centre of Europe! Not a drop of innocent blood should be shed!

We, the « Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition », a French association free from political influence, uphold the values of common artistic creation, understanding among peoples and support for the young generation. We call for an immediate end to the aggression in Ukraine! No cause can justify military action on the territory of a sovereign state.

We are all responsible for the future of the young generation, and everyone is responsible for his conscience and moral values.
